Interpreting Grade Printouts
Every few weeks you will receive a printout of your grades. The purpose of these printouts is to allow you to look for errors in my grade book, and to see what assignments you might still need to turn in.
Missing work will be represented with the following symbols:
AB = absent when assigned or collected, counts as a 0%, can be turned in for full credit before the end of the unit
NT = not turned in, you did not do your work ready when it was collected, 0%, can be turned in for partial credit
TL = Turned in late, counts as a 40%. (This grade does not result from absence, but from lack of effort)
EX = excused, does not affect grade, you were not present for lab activity and are not required to complete it
The first thing you should do when you receive a grade printout is check for scores of "AB" and "NT". These can be turned in for full or partial credit. If you need another copy of an assignment, you can get it on this website.
If you find that I made a mistake entering your grade, just bring me the returned assignment and I will give you the correct score plus an extra 10%
