Honor Society Special Event...Tacoma Rainiers Game day on Wednesday, May 21 during the school day. Those of you who have not yet paid, please do so at the ASB window right away. Thanks. Our relay for life team is forming now. If you missed the meeting on April 17, please stop by room 14 for an information and permission packet. Over 75 members came to the April meeting and while we got a late start, we worked hard to make over 1000 bags. District leaders from Malawi, Uganda, Haiti, and other countries joined us and got to see the project in action. The new bags are stored for emergencies here at CKJH and the previous food bags are on their way to feed people. Art Docents visit Cougar Valley, Clear Creek, Silverdale, and Jackson Park Elementary Schools in February and March with their first project. Way to go! Help get the word out on the "Cell Phone Recycle" Honor Society service/fundraiser at CKJH. We'll collect, mail, and receive money for old cell phones. Check out the bulletin board in the cafeteria for Honor Society announcements. |
