Cite your sources
(Where did you get your information?)
You need to explain what resources you used for your paper. There is a formal way to do that. It is easy, though. You may use any of the on-line tools linked through the school’s web page. To do that, simply follow the path spelled out below.

If you don’t want to use the on-line tools, Here are instructions about to how to put together your Works Cited page
1. Title your paper “Works Cited.” (Remember the Works Cited should have its OWN page.)
2. List all sources in alphabetical order using the first word in the citation. (Remember you should have at least five.)
3. Citations should be typed with a hanging indent (see sample below.)
In Microsoft Word
· Highlight the text
· Format – paragraph
· Under the indentation section, near the top – SPECIAL
· Choose hanging by 0.5”
4. Leave an extra space between each citation.

If the names of editors, or translators appear on the title page, then a comma should come after the last name to appear in the entry and the proper abbreviation (eds., or trans.)
