Welcome to Central Kitsap Junior High School.  You will find an incredibly dedicated staff that inspires lifelong learning in students and who set their own high standards of academic excellence.  We have been visiting students in the halls and classrooms daily and are very impressed with their school spirit and enthusiasm for learning. 

CKJH is an Invitational School.  By that, we mean we want you to find us friendly and welcoming,  We encourage you to become an active participant in your child’s education and our school activities.  Our counseling, teaching, administrative, and support staff are all here to assist you.  Feel free to call us with your questions and concerns. 

There have been many changes this year.  In addition to a new administrative team and several new classroom teachers, we have introduced changes to the math and science curriculums.  Staff and students have embraced this new challenge to improve student achievement. 

Finally, we would especially like to thank our PTSA.  They are simply the best!  From Parents on Patrol to concessions to chaperones to the simple kindness of occasionally providing staff with goodies, they make us feel valued and appreciated.  We cannot educate students without you and we sincerely thank you for your support.
