I am Motohide Oishi,
in kanji 尾石志秀,
and
in hiragana おいしもとひで. People in America call me "Moto,
hide!", so I hide and tell them, "I can hide if you want me
to but my name is [mo-to-hee-day]."
Sometimes when I am dozing off on the couch, the TV calls to
me, "Hello, Moto". (Maybe you have seen that
commercial too.) In class, I would like for you to
call me "Oishi Sensei", as students in Japan would.

The following is a written interview conducted by a former
student from the 2004-2005 school year:
|
Many of you may ask
yourself this: "So, who is this Oishi person
anyway?" Well to put your mind at rest.
Here is Sensei's bio! |
